State Police Helicopter Delivers Backpacks To Bristol Twp. Kids
A Pennsylvania State Police helicopter came to Bristol Township Tuesday morning to deliver new backpacks for all of Keystone Elementary School’s first-grade students.
The helicopter landed at the field outside the school in Bristol Township’s Croydon section. Students were able to hear from state police Cpl. Pilot James Erme, who flew the chopper to the school, and explore the high-flying law enforcement tool.
The Police Youth Alliance, an initiative of the nonprofit Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation, presented the backpacks to the students following a presentation and K-9 demonstration.
Antonetta Stancu, who volunteers with the Police Youth Alliance and is the Democrat running for Bucks County district attorney, presented the bags to the students with help from troopers and Bristol Township police officers.
