Artist Carrie Kingsbury collaborated with Keystone's resident artists to design and create our Learning Steps Mural. The students decided that they wanted to feature images from what they have been learning this year. You will see the solar system, the earth, embryology, plant systems, dinosaurs, fractions, and much more all on the background of the river. The river represents the local environment and the "flow" of learning. The painting also flows from universal to global to local, representing our students as global citizens. Ms. Kingsberry taught the children the mural process as well as painting technique.
