Febraury Kindness Activities

Tree
During the month of February, Keystone Elementary School celebrated “
Kindness.” Students and staff were encouraged to show kindness towards others with kind words and actions.  “Kindness Week” was celebrated during the week of February 14th–18th.  Each day had a theme and daily challenge related to kindness. The themes included students and staff wearing animal print clothing to show that they are “Wild about Kindness” as well as a hat day with the theme “Hats Off to Kindness.” A “Kindness Tree” grew with leaf hearts to show that “Kindness Blooms at Keystone Elementary.”

Donation
 The biggest success of K
eystone Kindness Month was displayed through kindness towards the community.  A school-wide toiletry collection was held to benefit the United Way’s HELP Center in Bristol. Students and staff donated toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo/conditioners, combs, and brushes.  It was exciting and heartwarming to see that kindness is contagious at Keystone Elementary!
